What is the Quality of Care Like at Your Network Hospitals?

 

The quality of care at our hospitals is on par with—and oftentimes superior to—that of a U.S. hospital. These hospitals benchmark their performance and standards against the very best medical facilities in the U.S., such as John Hopkins and Harvard Medical International  They are equipped with the most advanced medical equipment for diagnosis and treatment and they employ hundreds of highly trained and specialized surgeons with impeccable credentials.

 

 

Are Your Hospitals Accredited by a Reputable Third-Party Organization?

 

Yes.  Our hospitals are accredited by the Joint Commission International, which certifies—through painstaking periodic inspections—that procedures and practices meet international standards for delivering patient quality care.  Joint Commission International (JCI) is the international arm of the US-based accreditation body Joint Commission on Accreditation for Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).  In JCI, there are 565 standards divided into 197 core standards that must be met to achieve accreditation and 368 other standards that lead organizations to best practice levels. These standards are further divided into 1033 measurable parameters, which focus on aspects such as patient safety, patient rights, facilities, physicians’ credentials and policies and procedures of the organization.

Joint Commission International accreditation standards are based on international consensus standards and set uniform, achievable expectations for structures, processes and outcomes for hospitals. Joint Commission International’s standards for hospitals clearly define the principals and processes needed to assess the key functions of acute care organizations and associated ambulatory settings.

What are the Qualifications and Experience of the Physicians at Your Network Hospitals?

 

The doctors/surgeons treating you are highly qualified and some of them have been trained in the U.S. or Europe.  After contacting us and informing us which procedures you would like to have performed, we will provide you the doctor’s information (training, experience, etc.) before you commit to anything.  

 

 

What is the Quality of the Nursing Care in Asia?

 

Nursing care in our network hospitals is some of the best in the world.  Most of the U.S. hospitals rely heavily on Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and medical assistants, whereas our network hospitals utilize 100% Registered Nurses (RN’s) with a minimum four-year degree in their field of study.  The nursing ratio for international patients is usually 1:1.

 

 

Is Medical Treatment at Your Network Hospitals Safe?

 

Any  medical surgery or procedure, no matter where it is carried out, entails some risk.  However the level of risk at our very high quality network hospitals is no greater than if you were treated in the U.S.  In fact, statistics show in most cases that the success rate for medical procedures performed in our network hospitals is actually better than that of U.S. institutions.  However, if, in the rare event that you do experience complications resulting from negligence on the part of the surgeon or hospital, Medical Care International will., at its expense, arrange for a return visit to our network hospital for follow-up care, or, at your option, we will reimburse you the entire cost you paid for medical treatment at our network hospital. No other company we know of offers this sort of Quality Care Assurance.
